Looking for a Former Axia Home Loans Loan Officer?
- Search the loan officer’s name on NMLS Consumer Access. It is free.
- Their profile shows the company they work for right now and the states they are licensed in.
- Many former Axia loan officers joined Planet Home Lending in 2024, but not all of them.
Why the old page is gone
Axia Home Loans stopped taking new loan applications in 2024. In August 2024, Planet Home Lending announced that it had acquired certain retail assets of Axia, and many loan officers and branches moved over. Personal loan officer pages and city branch pages on the old Axia website were taken down along with the rest of the old site.
How to find your loan officer in 3 steps
- Go to nmlsconsumeraccess.org and type the person’s full name. If you have their NMLS ID from an old email, business card or loan papers, search that instead. It is faster and exact.
- Check “Current Employer.” This is where they are licensed to work today. Old companies appear under employment history.
- Contact them through the company website, not through a phone number from an old email signature that may be out of date.
Looking for an old Axia branch?
Axia had branch offices in 17 states. Those local offices no longer operate as Axia, and many teams moved to Planet Home Lending. NMLS Consumer Access also lists company branch locations, so you can see which lenders are licensed near you.
Why you may not need your old loan officer
- Questions about payments, escrow or your balance go to your loan servicer, not the person who closed your loan. See how to find your servicer.
- A new purchase or refinance can be done with any licensed lender. It is smart to compare at least three Loan Estimates. See what closing costs to expect.
- Thinking about refinancing? Start with 6 signs it is time to refinance.
FAQ
Where did Axia Home Loans loan officers go?
Many joined Planet Home Lending after its August 2024 deal, but not all. NMLS Consumer Access is the only reliable way to check where one person works now.
Is NMLS Consumer Access free?
Yes. It is the public side of the system state regulators use to license mortgage companies and loan officers, and anyone can search it without an account.
Can my old loan officer still help with my Axia loan?
Usually not. Once a loan closes, a servicer handles it. Your servicer’s name is on your monthly statement.
